Northrop Grumman has delivered a new facility that would help the U.S. Army manage the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System.
The EOC for the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System, which passed functional configuration and system verification reviews, represents the production unit for hardware and software that is slated to undergo qualification tests, the company said Wednesday.
“We will be delivering more EOCs as well as IBCS integrated fire control network relays in the near future," said Dan Verwiel, vice president and general manager of Northrop's missile defense and protective systems business.
Verwiel added the company will plans to continue working with its customer and user communities in an effort to realize the vision of the service branch for the system.
Northrop aims to deliver 11 EOCs and 18 integrated fire control network relays this year.
