The Maryland Tech Council has named Altamira Technologies the “Government Contracting Company of the Year†during an event that recognizes science and technology achievements in the state and the greater capital region.
The company said Wednesday it received the recognition at the 31st Annual MTC Industry Awards event. MTC is a large technology trade association within the state of Maryland.
Altamira offers engineering and analysis support to national security customers. It won five prime contracts in 2018 for efforts related to information technology, geospatial intelligence and other security areas.
