The U.S. Air Force plans to launch a potential $48M research-and-development program with the goal to integrate autonomous systems and sensors for potential use in U.S. military operations across cyber, air and space domains.
A presolicitation notice posted Tuesday on FedBizOpps stated the Multi-Sensor Exploitation for Tactical Autonomy initiative will explore sensing autonomy platfoms in areas such as simulation and analysis, multidomain and multisensor data management, learning and computing for knowledge and understanding.

The open BAA will cover basic, applied and advanced research, development, assessment, demonstration and transition of the technologies. A selected contractor will provide software and hardware for the project.Â
