Air Center Helicopters won a potential $43.8M contract to provide personnel recovery training services to the U.S. Air Force’s 68th Rescue Squadron. Training will be held at various locations, including Davis-Monthan AF Base, Ariz. and Naval Air Station North Island, Colo.
The aviation services firm will support the squadron’s Guardian Angel Formal Training Unit in line with the Air Force’s recurring requirements for training operations, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The Air Force received six offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate at the time of award $2.5M for necessary expenses in fiscal 2019 to support phase-in activities and 5-Level coursework.
The Pentagon expects contract work to conclude by May 31, 2024.
