ViON has introduced an online platform built to help customers compare and procure a range of Dell EMC’s information technology infrastructure-as-a-service offerings.

The Dell EMC Marketplace offers storage, network, compute, hyperconverged infrastructure, data protection and personal computer platforms, ViON said Thursday.

“We have invested significantly in developing, testing and deploying this platform over the last several years with the intention of giving customers this kind of unprecedented access to next generation technology as-a-Service,” ViON Chairman and CEO Tom Frana said.

Frana added the Dell EMC portfolio offers clients with more options to accelerate data center modernization efforts.

The marketplace provides an Information Technology Infrastructure Library governance framework for customers to monitor service delivery and support, key performance indicators and service level reporting. The platform is designed to also manage IT products in multistep workflows for requirements generation, requirements approval, line of business approval, financial approval and contract authorization.

“This platform truly simplifies the customer experience at each step and fills a growing need in the market for fast access to disruptive technologies with a pay-as-you-go financial model,” said Steve Harris, senior vice president and general manager of Dell EMC’s federal business and a 2019 Wash100 winner.
