Ultra Electronics USSI Appraised for Capability Maturity Model Integration Compliance - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The Capability Maturity Model Integration Institute has granted a Level 3 appraisal to Ultra Electronics USSI's product development group in recognition of effective processes.

CMMI establishes standards aimed at sustaining the performance of business processes, the company said Wednesday.

"This CMMI alignment demonstrates our commitment to consistently delivering results for our customers as we assist them in achieving their vital missions," said David Jost, president at Ultra Electronics USSI.

AgileDigm, a Florida-based CMMI partner, conducted the appraisal, which adds to Ultra Electronics USSI's existing certfications with the International Organization for Standardization and the International Aerospace Quality Group.

Ultra Electronics USSI, an Indiana-based business, designs and produces sonobuoy systems for the U.S. Navy.
