UiPath, Byte Back Collaborate on Robotic Process Automation Training Program - top government contractors - best government contracting event

UiPath has partnered with Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit technology education organization Byte Back to offer robotic process automation training and identify RPA-related job opportunities in both the public and private sectors.

The partnership seeks to encourage adults to participate in the digital economy by pursuing living-wage careers in the technology field, UiPath said Thursday.

Earlier this year, the software company launched a four-month RPA training program that includes online and in-class instructions on the applications, development and advantages of automation.

“UiPath’s goal to democratize RPA and Byte Back’s goal to put ‘Tech Within Reach’ made this partnership as easy as building a robot,” said Jim Walker, federal chief technology officer and director of public sector marketing at UiPath.

Students completed the two initial phases of the curriculum and are slated to take a certification exam for the final part of the program. Those who will pass the course will have the chance to land full-time positions at Leesburg, Va.-based consultancy Anika Systems.

UiPath hosted an event Thursday to educate trainees about various RPA use cases and opportunities at federal agencies that operate in the D.C. area.
