SpaceX plans to initiate the 17th International Space Station resupply mission on Wednesday following a static fire test that took place Saturday at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Orlando Sentinel reported Saturday.
The company is set to launch its Dragon spacecraft aboard a Falcon 9 rocket at 3:59 a.m., Wednesday, according to NASA. The rocket would transport over 3.7K pounds of scientific payload, as well as crew supplies and hardware.
The schedule change would help SpaceX resume investigation of a recent engine-related accident with the Dragon spacecraft’s crew variant.
