SOS International appointed Helle Huxley as vice president for strategic communications and named Gregory Hayken as associate general and VP for contracts.
“Helle and Greg bring years of valuable experience to the SOSi team,†Julian Setian, SOSi president, CEO and 2019 Wash100 Award winner, said in a statement Thursday. “Helle will help amplify our value proposition to customers and employees, while Greg helps manage a myriad of issues from international trade compliance to intellectual property protection, supporting a rapidly growing technology portfolio.â€
Huxley joins SOSi with more than 25 years of experience across diverse business sectors. Most recently, Huxley served as chief marketing officer at Cadmus from Feb. 2017 to Apr. 2019. She served as chief marketing officer for Booz Allen Hamilton between Apr. 2013 and Feb. 2017 and was the vice president of marketing for management concepts at Deltek for eight years.
In addition, Huxley has served as the creative director for Warner Bros International Television Production and Film and TV for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. Huxley has also served as a member of the board of directors for STEM for Her since Feb. 2019. She received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991.
Before joining SOSi, Hayken served as senior counsel in the Intelligence and Security sector of BAE Systems for 16 years. In the role, Hayken was responsible for a range of issues – from policy to compliance to litigation management – and he supported the Intelligence Community by developing cutting edge cyber, AI and IT solutions. He also served Hartel Kane as an associate for 2 years.
Hayken also served as an assistant den leader for the Boy Scouts of America between 2014 and Feb. 2019. He graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Leadership and Political Science from the University of Richmond in 1998. Afterward, he earned a JD from the Boston University School of Law in 2001 and an LLM in Government Procurement from the George Washington University Law School in 2008.
