Sonim Technologies has launched a ruggedized flip phone for use with the AT&T network and the FirstNet public safety network.
The XP3 phone is designed to provide communications for public safety and other activities that take place in extreme environments, Sonim said Friday.
The flip phone features a push-to-talk function for quick communication access and is compliant with various durability standards such as MIL-810G and IP-68.
Users from industries with high security requirements may also avail of a no-camera variant of the XP3 phone.
The phone can accommodate up to 128 gigabytes of expandable memory, global LTE connectivity and industrial-grade accessories such as vehicle kits, charging bays and ruggedized headsets.
