Amazon Web Services has granted Science Applications International Corp. a DevOps Competency designation that acknowledges the latter's cloud computing technology integration services for government and commercial clients.
SAIC said Friday its DevOps teams deploy AWS tools to help customers automate cloud infrastructure management functions and simplify continuous integration and delivery processes.
DevOps work supports collaboration between information technology personnel, transformation of software development life cycles and automation of CI/CD pipelines.
Coby Holloway, vice president of enterprise IT at SAIC, said the competency status reflects the firm’s commitment to helping clients meet digital transformation goals through DevOps methodology and cloud technology.
SAIC, a member of AWS' Partner Network and Public Sector Partner Program, previously received the Government Competency certification and is an authorized reseller of AWS offerings to government and commercial entities.
