Parasoft has launched a new division to help federal, local and state agencies address their software testing requirements.
The company said Tuesday Larry Johnsen, vice president of Mil/Aero and government solutions at Parasoft, will lead the corporate division to provide strategy-based platforms and software tooling for development and testing groups to help agencies address software development initiatives around security, DevOps and Agile methods.
"As applications increasingly become the de-facto conduit for interacting with government services, and the underlying personally-identifiable information necessary to support them, it is more important than ever for organizations to adopt development and testing methodologies that encompass a security and quality first approach,†Johnsen said.
Monrovia, Calif.-based Parasoft provides tools that work to automate testing tasks and provide management with analytics platforms to focus on critical operations.
