Palomar Display Products received a $40.7M contract modification to supply gunner display systems for the U.S. Army's M1 Abrams main battle tanks.

The award would bring the contract's potential value to more than $78M, the company said Wednesday.

Carlsbad, Calif.-based Palomar produces tactical targeting displays for installation on armored vehicles worldwide and has provided more than 6K optically coupled gunner displays to U.S. and international customers to date.
