Octo Consulting has been selected to provide Agile software engineering services for the U.S. Air Force’s Kessel Run Experimentation Laboratory to transform legacy information technology applications.
The company said Tuesday it will help Kessel Run implement cloud-based, 12-factor development methods in efforts to update apps as well as application programming and user interfaces.
USAF also seeks to utilize security and rapid prototyping tools via a platform-as-a-service delivery model.
Mehul Sanghani, CEO of Octo Consulting, said he believes the firm’s experience with PaaS-powered software engineering and cloud-based development of mission systems will offer advantages for the service branch.
The AF Life Cycle Management Center manages Kessel Run at Hanscom AF Base in Massachusetts.
