Visium Technologies has secured licensing rights to commercialize a technology Mitre developed for cyber warfare analytics, knowledge management and visualization tasks.
CyGraph works to help users obtain situational awareness of cyber operations through an advanced analytics mechanism, Visium said Monday.
Mark Lucky, CEO of Visium, said the tool is designed to "assemble disparate pieces of data into a holistic analytic picture" and for use on premises or in the cloud or hybrid information technology environments.
Barry Costa, director of licensing at Mitre, said the nonprofit organization's technology transfer program offers an opportunity for U.S. government sponsors to buy technology that includes federally funded intellectual property.
