Mercury Systems Launches Rugged Quad-Processor Server - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Mercury Systems has introduced a rackmount server platform designed to help military customers manage virtualized applications for airborne, naval and land missions.

The company said Tuesday its EnterpriseSeries RES-XR6 2U Quad server is designed to accommodate up to four Intel-made Xeon processors and six terabytes of error-correcting code memory.

The system also offers 240 terabytes of storage memory across eight front-access drives, can support seven PCI express cards and complies with military requirements for shock, dust and temperature resistance.

“Designed for challenging tactical environments, the RES-XR6 2U Quad server doubles the performance in the same footprint, providing a hardware foundation for virtualized applications without added bottlenecks.” said Scott Orton, vice president and general manager of the trusted mission solutions group at Mercury Systems.
