Joseph Goetz, a Virginia-based professional engineer and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers veteran, has been appointed senior project manager for disaster recovery services at Dewberry.
He brings 35 years of disaster assistance and emergency response management experience to his new position, the company said Tuesday.
Goetz previously led various critical infrastructure programs valued at more than $1B and managed key projects and contracts related to humanitarian assistance, disaster recovery and temporary housing.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in general engineering from the U.S. Military Academy and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
He is currently a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
