Hitachi Vantara CEO Dave Turner on Becoming End-to-End Data Service Provider - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Dave Turner, president and CEO of Hitachi Vantara Federal, said the company is building a workforce composed of former government employees. It is also procuring cloud solutions and is exploring existing customer requirements to become “a credible end-to-end data services provider,” Federal News Network reported Tuesday.

The efforts come amid the strong performance of the federal market, he told the publication.

Hitachi Vantara hires veterans and former government employees for their knowledge of federal operations.

The company has also increased coordination with current customers to help identify technology roadmaps and their commercial options to address challenges.

“Our strategy was to be able to be a credible end-to-end data services provider,” said Turner, who also serves as Hitachi Vantara’s chairman of the board. “We want to be that end-to-end data services provider, be it on-premise, in a hybrid or in the cloud.”

Other efforts of the company to enhance how it delivers services to customers include adapting the cloud through acquisition and hiring employees with security clearances.
