Ensco and DeepSig have partnered in an effort to help government customers implement an artificial intelligence-based signal processing technology to support national security missions.
The alliance centers on DeepSig's OmniSIG sensor, designed to comprehend the spectrum environment to aid in decision-making and contextual analysis processes as well as detect signals through deep learning methods, Ensco said Tuesday.
Vernon Joyner, vice president of national security solutions at Ensco, said the partnership will apply deep learning technology to help address the performance limitations of conventional RF systems that include radar, communications, signals intelligence and electronic warfare platforms.
The company intends for OmniSIG to detect wireless and radar frequencies of high interest for the Department of Defense or intelligence community.
