The Defense Logistics Agency has awarded two-year contracts worth $57.1M combined to four companies to supply pipeline quality natural gas products to U.S. military and federal civilian customers.
DLA's energy organization received nine offers for the fixed-price, economic-price-adjustment requirements contracts that each include a performance period of two years along with a six-month carryover period, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Contract details are as follows:
- Centerpoint Energy: $17.6M
- Constellation NewEnergy:Â $9.9M
- Direct Energy: $18.3M
- Sage Energy Trading: $11.1M
The U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force are the service branches that can use contract services.
