Carahsoft Technology has won a potential five-year, $69.1M blanket purchase agreement to help the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps acquire Symantec software licenses.
The company will also provide software maintenance and subscription renewal services via the BPA, which has a $13.3M initial value, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The award is part of DON’s Enterprise Software Licensing Initiative and subject to compliance with the Department of the Navy policy, titled “Mandatory Use of Department of the Navy Enterprise Licensing Agreements."
The Naval Information Warfare Center received two offers for the BPA via a limited source solicitation process on the General Services Administration’s eBuy platform.
The base period of performance runs through March 28, 2020 and the ordering period could extend through March 28, 2024 if all options are exercised.
