Booz Allen's Dan Tucker: Agencies Eye Serverless Computing Approach - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Dan Tucker, a vice president at Booz Allen Hamilton and head of the company’s Digital Platform capability team, said he has observed some federal agencies seeking a serverless computing approach.

He told MeriTalk in an interview published Friday the company is working with a few agencies on what he describes as a "relatively nascent" shift toward the new cloud computing model.

A Deloitte Insights report stated that a serverless architecture utilizes cloud technology and can either operate using a platform-as-a-service or a function-as-a-service framework.

Tucker noted the FaaS process could have cost implications for organizations.
