Boeing Selects Triumph to Supply MQ-25 Unmanned Tanker Hydraulic Components - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Boeing has awarded Triumph Group a contract to manufacture parts for the hydraulic system of the U.S. Navy’s future MQ-25 unmanned tanker aircraft.

Triumph said Thursday its integrated systems business will provide the components for integration into the landing gear and arresting systems of the carrier-based aerial refuelling drone.

The Navy ordered four MQ-25s through an $805.3M engineering and manufacturing development contract the service awarded in August of last year. The platform is slated for initial operational capability in 2024.

Triumph has provided components, complex structures and other platforms in support of defense programs at Boeing over the past 25 years.

Boeing selected Moog Aircraft Group to supply flight control and wingfold actuators for the MQ-25 tanker drone.
