Boeing has landed a $63.7MÂ follow-on contract from the U.S. Army to provide logistic support services and airframe components for Apache AH-64D/E attack helicopters.
The Army Contracting Command said Friday in a FedBizOpps notice the company will begin work under the sole-source contract on Tuesday and continue to provide services through April 30 of next year.
AH-64D/E is designed to support brigade combat teams when they perform missions across the full spectrum of warfare and counter multiple targets through the use of Hydra rockets, HELLFIRE missiles and an M230 30mm cannon.
