Axon obtained a provisional authority to operate under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for a digital evidence management system built to help law enforcement agencies manage data.
The FedRAMP Joint Authorization Board evaluated and certified the cloud-based Axon Evidence platform for use in the federal government, the company said Tuesday.
Richard Coleman, vice president and general manager of Axon's federal sector, said the platform is designed to help agencies store, protect and share data with federal partners.
The public safety technology vendor works with cloud companies such as Microsoft, Datadog, Opsgenie and Signal Sciences.
Axon maintains a network of devices, applications and professionals that supports the law enforcement community.
