Applied Research Associates to Develop Counter-WMD Analysis, Planning Tools Under $85M DTRA Task Order - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Applied Research Associates received an $85.6M cost-plus-fixed-fee task order from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency to develop analysis and planning tools to aid warfighters in countering weapons of mass destruction.

DTRA announced the non-competitive award in a FedBizOpps notice posted Thursday.

The agency said its counterforce systems division aims to develop counterforce and defensive planning tools for delivery to military users through analytical models and software platforms, including the Integrated Munitions Effects Assessment and the Warfighter Wizard.

Albuquerque, N.M.-based ARA also holds a position on DTRA's 10-year, $4B contract vehicle for WMD defense research and development services.
