A former Acronis business has been officially launched as an independent company that delivers edge data security and cyber protection sevices to the public sector.
Acronis SCS said Tuesday it is focused on developing technologies that can operate with legacy systems while mitigating supply chain risks.
The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based firm noted that all of its products are manufactured in the U.S. and certified by third-party agencies based in the country.
John Zanni, CEO of Acronis SCS, said the company was created to help federal agencies streamline operations, improve security posture and ensure data availability.
"We founded Acronis SCS with a commitment to adhering to the highest standards because we understand that the public sector must trust our products and our company," he added.
Acronis SCS collaborated with consulting firm Corsec to help audit and certify the former’s operational processes.
