Bill Hughes, formerly a partner at Guidehouse and PwC, has joined professional services firm CohnReznick as partner and federal market leader.
CohnReznick said Tuesday Hughes will be based at the firm’s Tysons, Va., office and oversee strategic development, client relations, recruitment and marketing functions within the federal practice, CohnReznick said Tuesday.
He brings more than 26 years of public and private sector consulting and accounting experience to his new role.
In his most recent role, Hughes helped Guidehouse transform financial management operations and chief financial officer activities for the defense and civilian sectors.
He founded and previously served as managing partner and public sector market lead at Morgan Franklin, where he worked on financial and audit-related efforts in support of federal agencies such as the departments of Defense, Treasury, Veterans Affairs and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
He previously served on the Government Accountability Office's Green Book Advisory Council.
