Valimail secured contracts during the past 12 months to help government customers adopt an email security platform designed to comply with the domain-based message authentication, reporting and conformance protocol.
The annoucement comes five months after Valimail reported that all federal agencies using its Enforce system met the Oct. 16, 2018 deadline for compliance with the Department of Homeland Security’s DMARC directive, the company said Thursday.
“Achieving DMARC compliance is a necessary step in the constant battle against email impersonation attacks,” said Alexander Garcia-Tobar, CEO and co-founder of Valimail.
He added the company intends to apply its technology platforms such as Enforce and Defend in efforts to help customers secure emails against cyber attacks.
The state of Ohio recently awarded the company a contract to install a DMARC authentication feature on 250 internet domains. Valimail added it will collaborate with the Center for Internet Security to distribute information and resources to state and local agencies.
The company received Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification in August of last year.
