Unisys Secures $76M Air Force OTA to Test Enterprise IT Delivery - top government contractors - best government contracting event

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Unisys a three-year, $76.3M other transaction agreement to experiment with a commercial delivery approach for enterprise service desk and end user devices.

Unisys will test the enterprise IT-as-a-service platform to a select group of military bases as part of risk reduction efforts, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The experiment's initial participants are Buckley AFB, Maxwell AFB, Offutt AFB, Cannon AFB, Joint Base Elemendorf-Richardson, Hurlburt Field, Pope Field and Germany's Spangdahlem Air Base. The number of participating installations could increase up to 20 during the test, DoD noted.

Work is scheduled to conclude in February 2022.

USAF will obligate the agreement's full value at the time of award from the service's fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance funds.
