The North American subsidiary of Serco Group has received a potential four-year, $53M task order to support U.S. Navy information technology platforms and information assurance for the service branch’s regions worldwide.

Serco Inc. will help the Navy manage anti-terrorism force protection, enterprise land mobile radio, dispatch and network systems under the task order awarded through the SeaPort-e contract vehicle, the company said Wednesday.

Dave Dacquino, chairman and CEO of Serco Inc., said the company has created a platform to help secure military bases and address potential cyber threats.

“We are excited to grow our shore modernization services under this new task order,” Dacquino added.

The company has provided procurement, integration and life cycle sustainment services for ATFP naval electronic surveillance systems since 2001.
