SAIC to Continue Support for Navy C2 Systems; Jim Scanlon Quoted - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Science Applications International Corp. has booked a five-year, $37M task order to help the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, manage a set of systems designed to support military communications.

SAIC said Monday it will provide 24/7 help desk and technical support services to the Joint Expeditionary Command and Control program through the task order awarded under the U.S. Navy's Seaport-e contract vehicle.

Jim Scanlon, executive vice president and general manager of SAIC’s defense systems customer group, said the company will work with NSWC PCD to manage the performance of JEXC2 networks and infrastructure and ensure that warfighters have full access to the systems.

Engility, which SAIC acquired for $2.5B earlier this year, previously supported the JEXC2 program.
