Research and Engineering Development has won a potential three-year, $42.7M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide engineering support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's human systems department.
The military service received two offers for the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders, the Department of Defense said Monday.
Maryland-based RED will perform work in Patuxent River and is expected to finish by March 2022.
NAWCAD's human systems department oversees the identification, development and implementation of human engineering and systems integration approaches for Navy and Marine Corps aviation platforms.
