Raytheon has received a $39.7M contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide a total of 12 radar production kits for the P-8A Poseidon multimission patrol aircraft.
The modification exercises an option for the supply of APY-10 kits to the Navy, four to the U.K. and another five to Norway, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.
DoD added the company will provide related services for lot 10 P-8A production aircraft. Raytheon secured a separate $2.46B modification in January to manufacture 19 units of the maritime patrol aircraft.
The department expects work under the latest modification to conclude by September 2022.
