Perspecta has won a potential five-year, $71M contract under the U.S. Air Force’s Network-Centric Solutions-2 vehicle to help the military service implement enterprise-wide logging system.
The company said Tuesday it will support the deployment of a global architecture equipped with base-level log storage, forwarding, query, central management and reporting functions as part of Enterprise Logging Phase 2 program.
USAF aims to increase its cyber situational awareness with the use of a logging platform.
Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said the company “is energized to partner with the USAF customer and is eager to get to work on this important operation.”
Specifically, the company will provide a technology to help the service branch’s cyber professionals identify and analyze threats.
