The U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is seeking research-and development proposals on surveillance and reconaissance technologies that are applicable to both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles.
Technology areas of interest mentioned in a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday include communications relay, electro-optics, radio frequency, acoustic sensors, payloads, persistent surveillance technologies, unattended ground sensors and special sensor systems.
NAWCAD also calls for mathematical modeling and usage techniques for these technologies that the Navy expects to use to detect clutter across sea, air and land domains.
Interested firms can submit proposals through Feb. 28, 2020.
