Sentient Digital, doing business as Entrust Government Solutions, has won a potential five-year, $49M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide information technology engineering support to the Military Sealift Command.
Entrust will help MSC develop and sustain command, control, communications and computer systems, the Department of Defense said Friday.
The company will also support the development of governance measures to ensure the command's IT platforms align with its N6 division’s strategic business support plan, architecture frameworks and technical standards established by the DoD and Department of the Navy.
MSC solicited and received 10 offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a small business set-aside solicitation process on FedBizOpps.
The Navy will obligate $10K in fiscal 2019 working capital funds at the time of award.
Work will take place in Norfolk, Va., through April 2024.
