Mahesh Saptharishi, formerly chief technology officer of Avigilon, has been appointed to the same role at Motorola Solutions.
The more than 20-year technology industry veteran will be responsible for driving Motorola’s efforts to incorporate artificial intelligence-based data analysis applications and information delivery interfaces into communications, video and command center technology platforms, the company said Tuesday.
Saptharishi noted he aims to help the company build integrated products that can aid public safety and commercial organizations.
He spent five years at Avigilon, a Motorola subsidiary that offers video analytics and artificial intelligence technologies designed to support unusual motion detection and appearance search activities.
