Lockheed Martin has received a $32.7M delivery order modification under a U.S. Navy basic ordering agreement to provide alteration kits and special tools for the F-35 aircraft.
The items are needed to modify and retrofit air systems that were delivered to domestic and foreign military customers as well as non-Department of Defense participants, DoD said Tuesday.
The company will perform work in Fort Worth, Texas, through August 2027.
Naval Air Systems Command will obligate the modification's full value at the time of award, with $2.1M of the obligated funds slated to expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The order combines purchases from the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, non-DoD participants and foreign military sales customers.
