TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 28, 2019 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) named Roderick McLean, vice president and general manager of its integrated fighter group, to serve in the VP and GM roles for the air mobility and maritime missions organization beginning April 15, GovCon Wire reported March 15.
The company said March 14 McLean will succeed the retiring George Shultz to lead work for air mobility and maritime missions, while F-35 Global Sustainment VP Bridget Lauderdale will take over from McLean at the integrated fighter group.
Michele Evans, executive VP for Lockheed’s aeronautics business, said McLean will apply the “strategic vision” that he had for the company’s F-16 program to the C-130 and LM-100J programs as the company seeks to build on its air mobility capabilities.
“[Lauderdale’s] strong relationships with internal teams and customers, and her thoughtful, strategic approach will enable us to continue generating opportunities for the F-16 and F-22 well into the future,” Evans continued.
