Ken Asbury Develops Set of Potential Candidates for CEO Post at CACI - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Ken Asbury, president and CEO of CACI International, told Inside Defense in an interview posted Tuesday that he is developing several executives who could potentially succeed him at the company.

"I have two, maybe four [executives] that are in various stages of development, which is to me incredibly healthy," he said.

"A CEO should never be in the position to pick a successor … but my job is to be sure there is the kind of talent in the business at all levels."

Asbury, a 2019 Wash100 winner, noted that not all of those potential candidates he is currently developing work in the company.

CACI recently announced that it completed its acquisition of LGS Innovations from CoVant Management and Madison Dearborn Partners.
