Jeff Bankowski, formerly chief performance officer for the state of Michigan, has joined Guidehouse as a managing director within company's state and local government business.
The 25-year public and private sector veteran will work with customers to help them manage risks and performance, create strategies and pursue transformation initiatives, Guidehouse said Wednesday.

In his previous capacity, Bankowski led the implementation of Michigan's enterprise risk management framework as well as performance management, process optimization and employee engagement efforts.
He is a certified public accountant and the second recipient of the 2018 William R. Snodgrass Distinguished Leadership Award for his state government service.
