Hensel Phelps Construction has won a potential $71.5M firm-fixed-price contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to build the East Campus Building 3 facility at Fort George G. Meade in Maryland.

USACE received two bids for the project via the internet and obligated the full contract amount , the Department of Defense said Thursday.

The Pentagon expects the company to finish construction work by March 27, 2023.

Founded in 1937, Hensel Phelps is a Greeley, Colo.-based firm that offers planning, construction and project management services to a variety of clientele.
