Geospark Analytics has secured a contract to study the potential integration of U.S. Air Forcr data into a cloud-based risk and threat assessment platform to support intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance tasks.
The Small Business Innovation Research contract will focus on the Hyperion technology designed to help analysts gain insight into social, economical and political risks worldwide, Geospark Analytics said Tuesday.
The company added it will evaluate the application of its machine learning-powered platform to Air Operations Centers.
“We are proud to work with the Air Force and have launched a feasibility study evaluating the benefit of incorporating relevant Air Force data into our forecasting and event identification AI and ML models,” said Omar Balkissoon, founder and CEO of Geospark Analytics.
Hyperion uses artificial intelligence to help users compute stability, examine streaming content, generate forecasts and create narrative summaries of global events.
Geospark Analytics is headquartered in Herndon, Va., and backed by venture capital firm General Catalyst.
