Vijay Mishra, formerly an executive vice president of health information technology contractor CNSI, has been named chief operating officer of professional consulting services provider The Panum Group.

In his new capacity, Mishra will focus on Panum’s strategic growth efforts and expansion of operations across the public sector, the company said.Â

He previously led the federal business unit of CNSI, which sold a majority interest to Alvarez & Marsal Capital last year.

“His operational skills, strategic vision of the federal marketplace and ability to identify revenue opportunities align particularly well with Panum’s plans to expand our government business through organic growth and acquisitions," said Sujata Gupta, CEO of Panum Group.
