FireEye's Email Security Tool Recognized at 2019 SC Awards - top government contractors - best government contracting event

SC Media recognized FireEye's email threat detection platform as the best email security solution during this year's SC Awards held on March 5 in San Francisco, Calif.

FireEye said Tuesday SC Media cited the company’s Email Security offering for “proving to be an especially strong tool for government organizations migrating email management to the cloud.”

The publication selects winners based on assessments by a group of information technology security experts that represent a part of their readership.

Email Security is designed to protect users against email-based attacks such as phishing URLs, malware, impersonation procedures and spam through its integrated secure email gateway feature.

The tool can detect more than 450 emails containing threats for individual customers every day.

“Winning Best Email Security Solution at the SC Awards 2019 shows the community recognizes the impact our continual integration of frontline threat knowledge truly has,”  said Ken Bagnall, vice president of email security at FireEye.

The company noted that is the first email security technology provider to receive a Federal Risk and Authorization Management certification for providing anti-threat offerings to government customers.
