DynCorp International has provided a $10K donation to the Air Force Aid Society to support flood emergency response efforts at the Offutt AF Base.
“We are honored to offer assistance to the members of the Air Force, the Joint Team, and the families of those so deeply impacted by the devastating flooding,” George Krivo, CEO at DynCorp and a 2019 Wash100 winner, said in a statement released Monday.
“We look forward to a rapid return to normal operations.”
During the peak of the flood, Offutt AFB runway, fuel storage and hangar facilities were covered with water that rose to at least eight feet.
The Air Force Aid Society aims to help airmen and their family members overcome emergency financial distress, manage quality of active duty life and meet educational goals.
