Information technology company Two Six Labs hired David Leach, former principal and head of private equity at The Chertoff Group, as senior vice president of strategy and corporate development.

Two Six Labs said Friday Leach will join the firm's executive management team and lead strategic efforts to expand its research and development, cybersecurity and intellectual property portfolio, the company said Friday.

He spent 13 years at Goldman Sachs and served as managing director within the financial services company's mergers and acquisitions business focused on the aerospace and defense industries.

Leach also held board and advisory roles at Coalfire, Chertoff’s Delta Risk business, ZP Group and Becket-Chimney Corners YMCA.

Arlington, Va.-based Two Six Labs works with government agencies, companies and universities to conduct national security R&D projects.
