Charles River Analytics to Design Components for Army's AI-Based Combat Trauma Care System - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Charles River Analytics has received three contracts from the U.S. Army to design components for an artificial intelligence-based system designed to provide warfighters trauma care support on the battlefield.

The company said Monday it will design diagnostics, monitoring and intervention components for the Automated Ruggedized Combat Casualty Care system built to provide lifesaving strategies for servicemembers with traumatic injuries.

“Under ARC3, we’re building software modules to help medics monitor patients, diagnose injuries, and provide treatment in areas that are isolated or difficult to access,” said Max Metzger, senior software engineer at Charles River Analytics.

The firm also received a separate contract to further develop its EPIC3 app, which works to help medical personnel diagnose and treat traumatic injuries.

The EPIC3 app enhancement will be used to build new tools that allow tactical combat casualty care personnel draft protocols for medical AI.
