Carey Vereen, formerly senior director of strategy and business growth for Department of Homeland Security programs at Knight Point Systems, has been named director of business development within Data Systems Analysts' information systems and solutions group, G2Xchange ETC reported Thursday.
In his new capacity, Vereen will plan, implement and manage IMSG BD operations and growth strategies for mission programs at the DHS and Department of Justice.
He spent six years at STG, where he held roles such as director of the firm's business intelligence and strategic planning group and deputy program manager for the firm's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-2 Services contract.
